The Unconventional Origin

We Don't Do Generic

To prove that critical infrastructure doesn't have to choose between reliability and innovation. You can have both. You should have both.

Processor technology

In late 2023, a naval officer said something that stuck with us: "We have the best sensors in the world. But the brain can't keep up."

The sensors had evolved. The thinking technology hadn't.

That moment — brilliant hardware connected to obsolete processors — captured what was wrong with critical infrastructure. Sectors that couldn't afford failure were being failed by technology designed for a different era.

So, in October 2024, we started Dendrites. Not to build what already existed. But to build what should exist: intelligent systems that actually think, adapt, and protect. For the sectors that keep nations running.

Three things we don't do

  • We don't copy. First-principles engineering or nothing.
  • We don't hide problems. We show you uncertainties early. Critical systems can't afford surprises at deployment.
  • We don't disappear after deployment. We're here for the life of your system. However long that is.

Three things we do

  • We ask "why?" Until we understand your problem better than you do.
  • We build for reality. Not ideal conditions — actual conditions. Vibration, salt, shock, stupidity.
  • We make systems last. Twenty years. Thirty years. However long you need.
